Nuxe Creme Fraiche Cream

Nuxe to those who are unfamiliar is a french brand. Also a very popular brand at that too, back in its homeland. They have various ranges depending on your skin type and age....for instance a range for an oilier complexion to control shine if that is your main concern  and for the older mature skin types who main concern maybe anti-ageing and firming benefits, there is also other ranges within the brand for all those skin types that fit somewhere in between.

This particular cream is a if you like bog standard moisturiser type who main responsibility is well to
moisture really. Its particular ideal if your skin is feeling parched because of the cold weather and/or your heating is on full blast! I have been using it more a lot recently as the weather is playing havoc with my poor skin and my normal moisturiser has not been doing its job properly! I picked this up in Space NK and it was £25.00. Please accept my apologies for the poor quality of the photographs,I blame the lighting......

StriVectin-SD

I first became familiar with this cream  when I use to work at Space NK, it probably looks strange to people who are not aware with this
brand as it looks like it is just for stretch marks BUT trust me it is meant to be used on the face, I swear! I was given this cream by someone
who worked for the company when I was  receiving training in-store. After you have cleansed your face you apply to your skin just like
with any other face moisturiser really. It has a nice texture to the touch and  also a refreshing minty smell.

On the front of the product are listed improvements you should see in your skins texture/appearance in Week 2, Week 4 and by Week 8. My skin is not particular lined or saggy but they do say prevention is better than cure don't they! I have been using this product for just over a week, it feels nice onthe skin and I do feel my skin has more of an even texture to it. I am going to keep using it morning and night for the next eight weeks and then write about it again.

SIMPLE SENSITIVE EYE MAKE-UP REMOVER

This is a little post on an item I  purchased recently. In a nutshell I was shopping in Boots, needed an eye make-up remover and  not wanting to
spend to spend the earth I decided to give their own range a whirl. I picked this up, mainly as I thought the packaging made the product look *clean* apologises if this expression sounds silly! Not so silly though, it also said it was suitable for sensitive  eyes ( which I have) contains the ingredients Aloe Vera, has no fragrance or colour in it, is hypo allergenic AND Dermatology tested AND all for the grand sum of about £3.00.

Overall I quite like this product, for me I wouldn't say its the best eye make-up remover I have ever used. Considering the price and the benefits though it really is a good budget buy. I like to wear lots of mascara in the day , perhaps that's why and I did find that I had to give my eyes/lids a good going over before it removed everything....if you prefer should I say the more nature look then this really is a good steal and you should have no problem removing your eye-make-up be it eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner etc...etc...

Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash

This was my other purchase from my 2 for £5.00 special from Boots. The other product was the scrub
the same range...although the scrub was not really *scrubby* My skin has been feeling really spotty at the moment, I think down to a combination of stress and hormones!

This product aims to specifically help to eliminate spots and blackheads..(I have plenty of both) without making the skin feel tight.
My skin didn't really feel clean with this product. I am not sure why....maybe if you are a teenager and you want to start purchasing skincare than this is ideal, it also turns into a funny white cream like texture. Maybe you do pay for what you get! Not one of my favourites..

Redken Extreme Anti Snap leave in Treatment

I brought this product alongside the shampoo and conditioner of the same range. All I can say is that its been a real life saver for my poor
abused locks. In a nutshell this is a leave in treatment you use on your hair after you have washed and condition. It helps to strengthen
your hair so it doesn't snap so easily or weaken or split. If you find that your hair doesn't appear to be growing or seems to stop at a
certain length, then you may find this product useful.

You only need a small amount, it lasts for ages and it retails for around the £15.00
so its not overly expensive. As far as I am aware (don't shoot me if I,m wrong!) you can only buy this range in approved salons and online.
Redken also have a variety of other lines,  so if you have curly hair, blond hair, white hair, dry hair etc, etc,  there is a specific range for you
...google them online, I think Redken are worth a look.

Has anyone else has good result with this product?

Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub

This was part of my buy two items for £5.00 from Boots. I do like Neutrogena as a range, I don't tend to
use huge amounts of their product though, just mainly when I need to cut down on my spending and feeling tight. The particles in this product are really small, so don't be put off by the *scrub* on the packaging and think that its going to be really abrasive, it isn't.

I would say use it as a cleanser....don't buy as a scrub I just don't feel that its *scrubby* enough but again I think that it depends on your skin type. I have been using it everyday, I do like the product...I don't love it...so it really depends on your skin concerns and what end results you are hoping to achieve. As an everyday cleanser for me it was fine......just fine.

CHANEL JEWELLED EYEBROWS

I like to think of myself as a follower of all things fashionable and beautiful but there is one trend I can honestly say I have not been
channelling the past few months. Step forward the jewelled eyebrow......It may be Chanel BUT!!

Can you image the looks you get if you popped into Tesco for a pint of milk with these on!
