SUPERDRUG TOTALCARE DENTAL WOODSTICKS

Not the most interesting thing to talk about but it is an essential one.......*flossing* is recommended by I think literally every dentist after brushing your teeth. I know lots of people don't bother but it really is important for getting rid of all the little bits of food plague and goodness what else that gets stuck in between those gaps!I find though for me, that no matter how hard I try, I just can't get to grips with the traditional flossing string method!..If you have the same problem than this is the answer to your prayers.

This pack which contains about 120 sticks will last about 3months, which I think is a real find/bargain.

JURLIQUE HAND CREAM

Jurlique is one of my favourite brands for handcare, not only are they super nourishing, they smell completely divine to boot!!
This range of hand creams from Jurlique are not the cheapest. I do however think they are worth the extra cost as they really do make your hands feel really nourished. You can buy this range in Space NK, online, in John Lewis and I think scattered about in small chemists. You can also buy hand cream in the scent Lavender, Rose, Citrus and they also have an Age Defying Hand Treatment. The small size for 50ml costs about £16.00 and the larger size above cost me £33.00

JOHN FRIEDA

This is an overnight hair treatment. The idea is that you apply neat to dry hair, go to bed, then shampoo out the next morning. All you need according to the instructions are a 10p size amount and that should be sufficient to cover your head...maybe I have a bigger than normal head or I have too much hair for one head. I found this was no way near enough for me....I had to use a lot more. Perhaps I was heavy handed but I don't think so.......I used this twice a week for a month. I was getting my hair ready to be coloured again and I really wanted to start treating it with a bit more TLC, than what it has currently received. I pumped about 5 x10 pence pieces into my hands and distributed from mid to the ends....put my hair into plaits and then went to bed. I really liked this product a lot. I do feel it helped to improve the condition of my hair. The only snag I found was that I used it too quickly.
This bottle size lasted me a month. I used it eight times. It cost me, I think about £20.

NAKED SHAMPOO

I have seen this brand many times before in Boots and whilst I have been seduced by the 97% natural claim. Due to the very good price of this item, I  have been put off, I figure how come its soo cheap if its supposed to be so good?. But this time as I was on the look out  for a new shampoo and having read good reviews from other bloggers, I thought I would cast all doubts aside and buy it. I chose the Strengthening Shampoo for weak brittle hair..as my hair is very long and coloured and fine.....so therefore it needs lots of TLC....a bit like me really... as I am a bit of a delicate peach!! It contains Hibiscus Flower and extracts of Frangipani and Vegetable Proteins to strengthen the hair. Its 97% natural whatever that really means....with this stuff though it means no harsh detergents, no sulphates, parabens, petrochemicals or silicone.I have to say for £3 a bottle I was very impressed, I have used various different brands of various prices and this really did make my hair feel stronger, it felt really nourished..I wouldn't say shinier but then again it doesn't contain any silicone so that would explain this. I wouldn't use it all the time as I  do like to spend a little more on my haircare.

MAGIC OIL - BIO OIL

I feel this product is more of a specialised skincare and is for those with specific problem such as  scars, stretch marks, ageing and dehydrated skin. I thought I would treat myself to this as I can get quite dry skin on my legs in the winter and really wanted a light but nourishing oil. Although its an oil, it does sink in really well without feeling sticky ...I would leave five mins or so before you put your clothes back on just in case mind.
Bio Oil is used by lots of women in pregnancy as well as it helps to reduce stretch marks and helps to nourish the skin. If you are prone to weight yo yo you may find yourself developing stretch marks more so this is a good product to try to help this. It contains  Vitamin A and E and essential oils such as Calendula, Lavender, Rosemary and Chamomile. This ingredients help to nourish the skin. I really like this product and find myself splashing it about left, right and centre! I also like to put this on my *bosom's* every night, it helps to keep thing *perky* I think and help nourish the delicate skin there.

AUSSIE 3MIN MIRACLE

Who hasn't used this product before right?? It seems to be in everyone's bathroom. Traditionally most masks require that
you leave on your hair for at least 15/20mins or so (I like this, I normally put them on whilst in the bath) but not everyone has
the luxury of being able to spend that long on their hair, for most people it really is a case of wash and go. This product is
brill as it does the trick in 3 mins.

This product retails at about £5.00, I picked this one up as I was looking for a nourishing treatment that wasn't going to cost
me the earth. Although I do feel if you have very colour treated/fragile/damaged hair...personally I don't think this would treat your hair enough. Also I personally hate the opening of the bottle, with that stupid *sticker* thing that you use...why don't they have a lid like normal people!! For myself I don't think it treats my hair enough, I do feel for my hair..its a case of you pay for what you get.

For myself, I would use this mask in an emergency if I didn't have very much money to buy a mask. Lots of people really seem to like this product so maybe its me expecting too much...who knows?

Mitchum Advanced Control

Not a very exciting product to do a post on, but considering nearly everyone (I hope!) uses some sort of deodorant on a daily basis (again I hope!) I though I would show you a product I think is very good. I have been using this brand, for years now and I love it. Prior to this I used quite a lot of different brands but  because I am always  rushing around, they never seem to keep me dry (excuse me if this is too much information) so I was recommended this by someone who had the same problem. If you rush around a lot or find you are someone who is more prone to sweating than other people this one is a good brand as I find it keeps you fresh all day. It also doesn't leave any *white marks* on your clothing either. You can buy this brand in most supermarkets, chemists etc. It retails about £3.
